Understanding fib.matrix Python 3.6

I’m trying to implement the Fibonacci number series but there’s something I just can’t understand regarding the use of fib.matrix to set the matrix values for each row and the indices to position each row.
I’ve attached a screenshot so that you can see. The matrix should be 1, 2, 3, 4, 5… and the indices should start from 1, 2, 3, 4…
This is how my code looks like:
fib = [[i for i in range(0, n+1)]]

for i in range(0, n+1):
fib[i][i] = 1
for j in range(i+1, n+1):
fib[i][j] = fib[j-1][i-1] + fib[j-2][i-1]

I checked the results with Jupyter and all the numbers are perfect. The ones I don’t understand are:

fib[0][2] = 1;
fib[2][0] = 1;
fib[2][1] = 1;

What is the function of each value set?
There are also other rows of the matrix and indices that I can’t understand.


I’m going to explain the code step by step to see exactly what is going on. We start with the Fibonacci matrix, let’s call it matrix1

First, the Fibonacci matrix is set up using variable i to index each row of the matrix.
I’ll highlight just the relevant part of the matrix1 and you can add your own comments to make it more readable
